It turns out that even a plane crash may be helpful. Recent crash of a small private plane near the city of Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, is a striking example if this.
As it was found out, the plane belonged to one of the most influential drug cartels of Honduras. According to Spanish-language information portal “Univision”, board was used solely for the transportation of drugs, but had been beyond suspicions of the local police for a long time.
Local authorities said that reasons of the crash are unknown. Aircraft was piloted by two citizens from Brazil. One of them died.
The investigation has already determined that cargo of at least one ton of was flying from Colombia to, most likely, U.S.A, where the aircraft was registered. This is not surprising, since aircrafts are often used to transport drugs from South America to the United States in this region.
