A son of famous scientists is charged with drug trade

Recently, as a result of a special operation, a man carrying 2 kg of marijuana, ready for sale, was arrested by Federal Drug Control Service officers in Novosibirsk, Russia. 

The suspect is a resident of Novosibirsk of 35. He is a drug addict. He managed to spawn a wide retail network selling pot. It was produced in a nearby Science Town of Koltsovo, not far from the Centre of Virology and Biotechnologies where cannabis grows abundantly.

“The suspect was born in a science campus. He was a son of famous scientists. However, he received no education,” the report of the Regional Department of the Federal Drug Control Service says.

“He has been working as a street sweeper in micro districts of Novosibirsk, and at the same time he was engaged in the drug trade.”

The drug dealer is charged with “illegal drug trade in extremely large amount”, according to paragraph 2 of the article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, stipulating a prison term up to 10 years.
