Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement of New York, USA, intercepted ‘a cargo with a twist’ at John F. Kennedy International Airport. The parcel with sweet pies, cookies and chocolate contained drugs as well.
Cocaine filled sweets and heroin chocolate bars were sent from Ecuador to the USA. Jorge Guerrero, a lost luggage delivery driver, is arrested on suspicion of involvement in the incident. According to the police, he led the criminal group which used to transport drugs from one country to another in such a peculiar way.
Besides, Mr. Guerrero is charged with stealing thousands dollar worth of valuable items from bags and suitcases lost during air transportation. Guerrero ‘s five accomplices including his wife are detained.
