A son of a Moroccan parliamentarian turned out to be a drug dealer

Recently a large consignment of shellfish serving as a drug hideout was intercepted in the port of port of Agadir, Morocco. Task forces report that the drug sale weight belonged to an international criminal group led by a son of a Moroccan ex-parliamentarian.

The young man was arrested 3 days ago and accused of accessory to drug mafia. He was the seventh suspect arrested within the frame of the same criminal case.

A Moroccan newspaper reports that the secret operation was organized after police had got a tip regarding planning of smuggling a large drug consignment from the port of Agadir to Great Britain. The total weight of the consignment is 7 tons. Currently the law enforcement agencies carry out an inspection of both the consigner company and the consignee, the London company ltd.
