An unusual art exhibition is to open Dubai World Trade Centre. Its subject is very urgent. It is devoted to the destructive effect of drugs on a human being, a family and society as a whole.
The exhibition is organized by the General Department on struggle against drugs of Dubai.
“The police of Dubai will participate in all social events aimed at informing people of the horrors of drug addiction”, major general Abdul Jalil Mahdi Al Asmavi, the head of the department, said.
The exposition is to consist of pictures, drawings and photographs depicting all worst sides of drug addiction. It is also to include works of a famous caricaturist Hamid Ate.
The exhibition will last till 1 September.
