Recently, the report of the Special Service for organized crime (Sirasco), was published, according to which the total income of the drug business in the country reaches 2 billion euro per year.
It is also mentioned in the report that drug dealers earn more than 1 billion euro, by selling around 250 tons of the cannabis resin, and another billion by selling other various types of drugs.
Besides that, the authors of the report are worried about the fact that traditional for France criminal bands (Corsican, Marseille, etc.) leave the floor to the new criminal societies, consisting of the problematic youth and also the intensified pressure of the foreign bands (Russian speaking, Italian and chineese).
