The customs of Australia detained another consignment of drugs proceeded out China that traffickers tried to smuggle into this country. This time containers with construction materials were used as hiding places.
During the check-up of load that came from China to Sydney Harbor, the customs officers bumped into cocaine weighing 350 kilograms and 37 million USD worth methamphetamine.
Police forfeitured the content of ship holds for more detailed examination, subsequent to suspicion that not all the volume of smuggled drugs was seized. Two suspects, the citizens of Canada and USA are already detained. In case if they will be found guilty, according to local laws they are to face life imprisonment.
It will be recalled that it is not the first case of detecting such large consignment of drugs when attempting to smuggle drugs to Australia recently. Thus, not long ago there was a boat that stroke ground with 200 kilograms of cocaine and a dead body, and lot of tractors made in China with huge volume of drugs hidden inside.
