The directive board of the Chilean Professional Institute Duoc UC has supported the initiative of the international "Maya" project, stating that the fight against drug addiction is a very important factor in the development of communities and nations at large. They have outlined that they pursue the same goal but from a different perspective - they develop communities by distributing something that is not there yet- education and knowledge, whilst the fight against drug addiction means fighting something that is already there - drugs. Nevertheless, inspite of different approaches, these are not mutually exclusive, and should therefore be promoted from both sides for the development of future generations.
The "Maya" project team supports this vision of the problem, and is eager to collaborate with the Chilean Professional Institute Duoc UC for the development of future generations.
