Last week, our young friends from Georgia held an event in support of a healthy lifestyle. One of the major themes discussed during the event, was the drug situation in Georgia. Our regular collaborator, Professor of Kutaisi State University of Tsereteli, Nona Gurmanova Bobohidze, took part in this action.
Nona Guramovna told us that students of the school #12 in Tskhaltubo town, who organized the event, provided substantial assistance in the fight against drug addiction. When they found out that one of the churches built cells for drug addicts who wanted to give up bad habits, and they have decided to support this action and to help to quickly build those cells. All last week, young activists spent on construction site, and then organized an exhibition of their work (see photos), to raise funds to help the construction process.
This kind of initiative shows that each person is able to contribute to the fight against drug addiction. Joining together in a single, global anti-drug movement, we will be able to clear our future from drugs!
